Please join us for a special event commemorating the construction of the Downeast Wind project. Don’t miss your chance to leave your mark on the project by signing your name on one of the wind turbine blades that will soon be generating clean energy in Washington County.

Event Schedule:

11:30 am:                     Attendee Arrival & Lunch at Columbia Community Center

12:00 pm – 12:30 pm:   Lunch Program

12:35 pm – 12:45 pm:   Load buses and depart to Blade Signing location

1:00 pm – 1:30 pm:       Blade Signing

1:30 pm – 2:00 pm:       Return to Columbia Community Center and Conclusion of Event

Please note that for safety purposes all attendees must meet at the Columbia Community Center and take the provided shuttle to the blade signing location. The blade signing will take place at an active construction site. No open-toed shoes or sandals are permitted and long pants are recommended.
